THE SWIVEL ROCKERS

The Swivel Rockers are currently, made up of three well-seasoned, professional musicians. The band has been performing together for over eight year, having achieved great success in the Upstate New York area. The Swivel Rockers have performed at over 800 dates, including many Weddings, Clubs, and Corporate and Public events. A strong material list, consisting of a mix of Classic Rock with a touch of Modern and a bit of Oldies thrown in is geared to be recognizable and very danceable. There is solid emphasis on powerful vocal harmonies with a prominence on audience participation.

 Our Promotion we currently have over 400 people on our e-mail list that receive an update each week as to where we are performing and events we are involved in. We also have a web site at www.theswivelrockers.com that has received over 40,000 hits. Every public date is submitted to all the local Newspapers (i.e. Syracuse New Times, The Post Standard, Spotlight Magazine etc.) and all the entertainment web sites. Posters promoting your event are provided 2-3 weeks prior to the date. We use all these forms of media to convey, promote and publicize all the public events we do. Due to the use of the e-mail list, our web site, and publication in local papers, along with our determination to continue to improve and grow we have developed an excellent following.

Our Stage we can incorporate a state of the art 4 way PA system including JBL front end cabinets and speakers, Crown power and a Mackie 24  channel stereo mixing console.      For our lighting we use professional stage lighting including  8-Par 56 cans and 4-Par 64 cans suspended from trussing behind the set. We use a Follow Spot, Fog Machine, (non-flammable) Strobe Lighting and many special effect Lighting combinations, also placed on the rear trussing, that are  programmed to respond to the music. We also incorporate drum risers and a backdrop. We can use any or all of our stage setup depending on the size of your event and the limits of your venue.

Our Commitment we strive to provide the client with the best shows possible. We are continually updating our material, our stage and our gear to stay fresh and current. We treat each and every client and their facility with the utmost respect. We are always ready and willing to listen to the client and to do our best to provide them with whatever it may take to achieve a successful event.
